kappa 438 datasheet
Rogers Kappa 438 PCB material performs exceptionally well in high-temperature environments, mainly due to its unique material properties and excellent thermal stability.
Kappa 438 has a low coefficient of thermal expansion
Kappa 438 PCB material has an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), with thermal expansion coefficients of 9, 10, and 17 ppm/℃ in the XYZ directions over a wide temperature range of -55 ℃ to+288 ℃. A lower Z-axis thermal expansion coefficient is particularly important because it can significantly improve the flexibility of system design, reduce size changes caused by temperature changes, and maintain the stability and reliability of the circuit. This feature is particularly important for electronic devices operating in high-temperature environments, ensuring that the circuit can maintain good performance even under high temperature conditions.
Kappa 438 has excellent dimensional stability
Kappa 438 PCB achieves excellent dimensional stability, with very small dimensional changes (typical values of -0.003~0.009mm/m), which means that the dimensional changes of the material can be almost negligible in high-temperature environments, ensuring the stability and reliability of the circuit board. This is crucial for electronic devices that require high precision and stability.
Kappa438 has high temperature resistance performance
Due to the use of special amide resin material, Kappa 438 PCB has excellent high temperature resistance. Even in high temperature environments, this material can maintain stable dielectric properties, thermal stability, and mechanical strength, making it very suitable for use in electronic devices that require operation under high temperature conditions, such as communication equipment, radar systems, etc.
Kappa 438 has a low rate of change in dielectric constant with temperature
The dielectric constant of Kappa438 PCB material has an extremely low rate of change with temperature, which means that its dielectric constant will not undergo significant changes in high-temperature environments. This characteristic is crucial for maintaining the stability of circuit signals and reducing losses in signal transmission, ensuring that electronic devices can still maintain good signal transmission performance under high temperature conditions.
Rogers Kappa 438 PCB board performs well in high-temperature environments, making it highly suitable for use in electronic devices that require high-temperature operation, such as communication equipment, radar systems, medical equipment, etc.
