The power limit of high-frequency circuits depends on the power level of the heating temperature of the circuit. UL circuit materials with safety certification can also obtain the rated thermal index (RTI) of the material, which is the highest temperature at which the circuit material can work without deterioration within a certain PCB time. When making actual circuits on a substrate, other factors must be considered from the perspective of heat treatment.


The RF microwave power of PCB is limited by the circuit principle and the working environment of the circuit. If the load power supply does not cause the circuit to heat up beyond its own temperature, then the power supply level is acceptable. Of course, the power load can cause the circuit to heat up, resulting in the circuit temperature exceeding the ambient temperature. When the external temperature is+25 ℃, the heat generated by the loaded RF microwave power will not exceed the maximum temperature. When the circuit uses the same power level at an external temperature of+50 ° C, the heat generated by the circuit may exceed the maximum power, resulting in problems with the circuit. As mentioned above, the power of high-frequency PCB circuits also depends to some extent on the external working environment.
