Electronic factory in the SMT factory is divided into DIP line and SMT factory line.


SMT refers to surface mount technology, that is, the electronic components through the equipment to the PCB board above, and then through the furnace heating the components fixed to the PCB board.


DIP is hand-inserted components, such as some large connectors, the equipment is not ready to hit the PCB board, through people or other automated equipment inserted into the PCB board.

The SMT factory line mainly includes solder paste printer, mounting machine loader, pre-furnace visual inspection, post-furnace visual inspection, packaging and so on.


DIP line mainly has board feeder, board removal, insertion, furnace worker,after furnace solder joint visual inspection, etc.


Each process of SMT factory is a post: operator, pre-furnace visual inspection,post-furnace visual inspection, maintenance,management,team leader,head,and regulator programmer.


Printing: the use of printing machines to brush solder paste on the PCB,the specific content of the work depends on the use of fully automatic printing machine or semi-automatic printing machine, as well as the degree of automation put aside for the production line.


Operator:The operation of the SMD machine, mainly responsible for feeding and general alarm handling.


Before the furnace:some places also called in the inspection, is responsible for checking the PCB boards out of the paste machine there are no parts paste leakage or paste crooked and other bad phenomena (some of the products produced by simple or high degree of automation of the production line of the factory does not have this workstation)


After the furnace: check the reflow soldering out of the product whether there are defects and labelling, etc.


Appearance maintenance: this can not be counted on the production line, generally separate, responsible for repairing the appearance of bad products detected after the furnace


AOI inspection: AOI test board (this is not the same for each equipment, and not necessarily every family has)


Is working in SMT factory harmful to human body?

SMT factories need to be ventilated, and employees need to wear overalls and protective gloves during the work period because they will come into contact with some chemicals during the work. With proper protection, it is not harmful to human health, but if you have allergies, you need to report in advance to prevent accidents.

What does an SMT operator do?

SMT operator is to operate the SMT plant equipment, such as the laminating machine, solder paste printing machine.


SMT factory lamination is an essential process in the production of electronic products nowadays. In addition to SMT engineers and SMT technicians operating SMT line equipment in SMT factories, there are SMT operators, who mainly operate SMT mounting machines. Handle some simple faults and operations to ensure smooth production.


Material preparation

1.All material preparation SMT operator in accordance with the corresponding number of the production BOM list, the bill of materials, IQC inspection list, station meter preparation;

2.Material preparation should be checked when the material number, name, specifications, error and volts, there are abnormalities need to be confirmed to the IPQC;

3.Distribute the materials according to the loading table for the corresponding models;

4.Select the corresponding model of feeder according to the model and feeder information on the loading table and install it on the feeder;

5.After installing the feeder, push the material to the suction point and pull the material belt tightly into the feeder rollers;

6.For the materials to be picked up, the materials torn off must be properly stored.


Loading

1.When loading materials, the SMT operator should load materials according to the station position,material number,name,specification,error and volts on the station meter;

2.The operator should make a good record of material loading immediately, and inform the manager or technician and IPQC to check the correctness of the machine after production;

3.When the material is almost finished, the operator should find out the corresponding material from the material box in advance and prepare to receive the material;

4.When picking up the material, cut off the excess part of the material belt first,and use the material belt to connect with the material on the feeder of the machine;

5.Materials without silkscreen must be measured by IPQC before use;

6.When replacing materials,we must do a good job to be consistent with the station meter,and fill in the ‘material replacement record sheet’ in time, and then IPQC to check the correctness of the machine after the start of production;

7.When the operator receives the bulk material, each small section must be well marked to facilitate the checker to confirm;

8.Tray and tube IC on the machine before the operator visually check the IC model and direction, and in each tray or each tube IC first IC paste a foot label,and then by IPQC to check the direction before production on the machine;


When clearing the tail

1.Near the end of the clearing, SMT plant operators in advance to estimate whether the material will be less,and notify the shift manager to help find materials.Try to avoid stopping the line to look for materials, reducing production efficiency;

2.When clearing the end must be all the loose material to find out and paste,such as there is still not paste the PCBA completely,need to be in the empty paste sheet will be empty paste the complete record of the material, write and hand over to the shift supervisor to confirm the signature before the empty paste over the reflow furnace welding.

3.Daily maintenance of the machine must be done every day. Material Change Record Sheet’, “SMT Production Daily Report Sheet”, etc. should be filled in on time.
